2024 Trial Wines Case Study

For our 2024 trial wines, our team led by Oenological Product Manager Rocco Longo Ph.D. chose to focus on enhancing the longevity of aromatics post-bottling in white wines and refining the colour and mouthfeel of red wines. Pinot Blanc sourced from the Adelaide Hills and Shiraz from Wrattonbully served as our chosen varietals for these trials. By focusing on these varietals, we aimed to highlight the impact our range of Lallemand and IOC products have on different wine varietals.

We are excited to collaborate on these trials alongside our partners, Lallemand Oenology and IOC. This endeavour presents a remarkable opportunity for Winequip to actively engage in research and development for both Lallemand and IOC. For instance, being given the opportunity to test new yeast strains prior to their introduction into the Australian market. Further, these trials give us valuable insights into our product range and the influence that our selected products have on wine varietals.
