High purity citric acid for neutralising caustic residues and odours; especially through pad filters prior to filtration. Use between a 0.5-2% solution. Use with PMS (1,000-1,500mg/L of PMS and 2000mg/L citric acid) to create a sous solution for barrel storage (20-30 litres per barrel). Can also be used for small acid additions to wine where the use of tartaric is not practical or desired.
