Novoferm C-L

Perfect on slip skins and skin contact

Processing of slip skin varieties is difficult due to high viscosity induced by pectins extracted during wine making. Pectin’s are natural compounds found in grapes that make the release of juice difficult and suspend cloud particles.

Novozymes’ Novoferm C-L has been developed to solve these pressing and clarification problems. Ease of pressing, very effective on slip skin varieties

  • Provides a fast pectin degradation and must viscosity reduction
  • Improves must clarification and settling of difficult musts
  • General overall throughput improvement

Addition rates – 30-40ml per tonne at the crusher
50ml per 1000L for tank clarification
